I don't know what it is about you that has captivated me so. Is it your golden hair or daring brown eyes? The way you smile and the way you show your every emotion without thought? The fact that you are so free, with little to worry your heart, is that it? I cannot say.
I watch you with your friends and my heart grows numb, like it can't decide whether it's overjoyed to see your smile or if it's shattered to see that smile is not directed to me. I wish you would smile at me like I was a friend instead of an enemy. No, not just a friend: something a little more. Please… I think to myself at moments like this, Smile at me like that…j

I grabbed the sparrow with my bare hands and clenched it in my fist. It squealed in pain. The shrieks of the small bird made me satisfied as I crushed it harder with my hand.
